Treated against wood-boring insects and mould
The CB heading states that CB wooden boards are treated against wood-boring insects and mould, are safe for direct food contact, carry no harmful surface coating, and wash clean easily. On the species, CB4024, CB4020 and the SUMO Chopping Board each print their own line saying rubberwood. CB260A has no material line of its own, only the group heading, which says rain tree.
Three fit eight series, one fits SUMO3 alone
These boards are made to lie across the mouth of the sink, so the size has to match the sink. CB260A, CB4024 and CB4020 are listed for eight MEX sink series: ST, SC, SCD, BSC, ELB, SQ, BSQ and BIX. The SUMO Chopping Board is listed for SUMO3 and SUMO3BL only. Check which sink you have before ordering.
SUMO is 487 mm, with 304 stainless rails
The SUMO Chopping Board is 487 mm long, the longest here, and the only one with AISI 304 stainless lifting rails, so it comes off the sink without reaching underneath it. CB4024 and CB4020 are the two with a hole for lifting and hanging, easy to stow when there is nowhere to put it down. Thickness runs 15 to 23 mm.
Some sinks already come with a board
Before you add a board to the basket, check whether the sink at home already came with one. Several sink ranges include a board in the box. If yours did, buy a second only as a spare, or to get a different size.
