Behind every boil is a small but essential control system, thoughtfully selected by MEX. Selected MEX kettles feature STRIX Kettle Control technology from the British, developed by a global specialist in kettle safety and temperature control technology, with STRIX products used in more than 100 countries worldwide.
STRIX is a trademark of its owner, a UK specialist in kettle control systems. MEX fits it on selected models only.
Quality Where It Matters.
The parts that come into contact with hot water deserve careful material selection. MEX uses SUS 304 stainless steel in designated water-contact areas. SUS 304 is the grade used for cookware and kitchen equipment worldwide. It resists corrosion far better than ordinary steel and does not rust easily, even when it meets hot water several times a day. Its smooth surface holds no residue and wipes clean in one pass, and it keeps its condition through years of daily use, for durability, easy care and everyday confidence.
SUS 304 is used in designated water-contact areas only. Some models use a high heat-resistant glass jug instead, such as KPLG105TW-1. Check the specification of each model before ordering.

Function you reach for every day, convenience you feel from the first use, and a shape that sits comfortably in a modern Thai kitchen. Most Thai kitchens work with limited space and a counter shared by many things, so a kettle has to fit without crowding anything else, pour comfortably even when full, and store away easily when it is not in use. Small details like these are the ones we think about first. We do not design for homes. We design for the life inside them.

Hot Inside. Comfortable Outside.
Thoughtfully designed with a double-wall structure that helps reduce heat transfer to the outer surface while helping retain heat inside, so every use feels more comfortable. From the inside out: hot water, the SUS 304 inner wall, an insulating air gap, and then the outer wall you actually touch. The air gap is what does most of the work, because air carries heat away far more slowly than metal does. The outer wall stays closer to room temperature, and the water inside stays hot for longer.
Double-wall construction is available on selected models. The catalogue lists KPL110W, KPL608B and KPL915TB. Check the specification of each model before ordering.
Neater Counter. Easier Living.
Thoughtfully designed beneath the kettle base, the integrated cord storage keeps excess cord neatly tucked away and lets you manage the cord length to better suit your space. Less clutter on the counter, easier to store, more considered in every detail. Because we believe good design is not only about what stands out, but also about the little things that make everyday living easier. It is the kind of detail you never notice when it is there, and notice every day when it is not. Small, but used constantly.
